How did blue dogs start?
I have been building boats for 10 years starting my apprenticeship with Genesis Craft. I then worked for Razerline. During my time there I was fortunate enough to work on multiple YBS boats which you would have seen all over Youtube! I then started my own business working out of a tiny shed, trying to fit big plate boats in quickly became an issue. I outgrew the little shed and built a bigger one on my property, with the business growing so fast, we are looking at expanding all the time!
where we are today
Our expert team is growing rapidly to keep up with the demand of boats coming in, with plans of to expanding more team members and workshops on the horizon!
In the beginning
It was just me and a tiny busted shed, which could hardly fit the boats in working out of a donger on my block. When orders for bigger boats started coming through the door, I had to get a bigger shed!
our vision for the future
We would love to be able to design and fabricate the largest aluminium boats in Australia.
